Well I made it through the past week of TOM without TOO much damage....I think. I think I need to read up on this subject. I mean, there has to be a book out there somewhere about controlling such awful cravings when you're PMS'ing, right? I had several little bites and cheats here and there throughout the week...there's my confession. I won't go into the details b/c....to be frank, it ain't pretty. So I shall move on. My workouts, on the other hand, have been great. This week I took the regular Tuesday night 60min strength class, Wed was a Bosu class which was FULL of squats, lunges, burpees, pushups, LOTS of plyometrics, you name it. Last night was a 60min spin class, tonight will be my UBWO followed by some extra cardio for this huge ASS, and tomorrow morning I'm taking the 75min spin class. I've tracked each class with my HR monitor and I've burned between 500-600 calories per class. Go me.

I'm laying off the running a bit now since I've been having pains in my right knee. After last Friday's run and then Monday's HIIT, I was hurting in a bad way. It's just not worth making it worse or getting and injury, so I'm going to have to stick to other forms of cardio for a while.

I need to get to the grocery store this weekend and Sunday NEEDS to be a PREP DAY. I really need to get back to preparing things for the week so I don't come home and say "hmmmm, what should we have tonight..." b/c it leads to snacking on little things here and there and not choosing the best options. Gotta get my head back in the game and toss out that "all or nothing" attitude. I've had WAY too many times that have led to an all out BINGE- I don't want to fall into those habits again.

I hope the knee is feeling better fast!

Hey, why don't you do another 12 week challenge and use tracker! That always helps me to stay on track. Just a thought.

I'm with you on the knee prob. Gotta stay away from the running for a while too. It's my left one though. It's better to be safe than sorry, so take it easy. There's GOT to be a good book out there about PMS, you're right. I'd love to read it too!

Your workouts sound great! Keep up the awesome work!

I just read back over this post - I SO wish we had a BOSU class at the Y! I've always wanted to try one! Sounds tough. :)
