Another day down with clean eating and a good workout. Here are today's meals, and I know my veggies are missing today...will do better tomorrow!

1) protein oatmeal
2) tuna w/light miracle whip & relish, sweet potato
3) protein shake, apple
4) Turkey chili w/ ff cottage cheese
5) protein shake

I ran intervals for 20-25min today then lifted legs, back, bi's, & calves. I can tell my left bicep is weaker than my right, both in looks and strength while lifting. Will have to work on that. For legs I started with squats and then moved into side squats. Those are killer! My inner thighs were really burning. Next I tried to go into lunges and couldn't. I honestly couldn't. I stepped out with my left foot and lunged down, and my dumbbells went straight to the floor- I couldn't get back up! My inner thighs (especially my left for some reason) were hurting so bad. So it's obvious that I've really been neglecting my legs. I've been running a lot but having been working them very hard otherwise. It's time for this to change, I need to be able to do lunges & step-ups too without dying from squats. Anyway, the rest of my day was pretty uneventful. I swear the "terrible two's" starts a lot earlier than 2. It's just one tantrum after the other. He thinks he's so sneaky too. Or he'll run up and give me a kiss, thinking that's his ticket to do what he knows he shouldn't. It's really hard not to laugh sometimes. I've got to put on the "serious Mom" face.
I went back and deleted a lot of my old posts. I'm just always nervous that some people may find my blog and read things I don't want them to. Ha. It was neat to go back and read a lot of my old posts though, and see how far I've come fitness wise. In one post last year I was saying how hard it was to run a couple miles, or I was posting about my time. That sounds so easy to me now. I'm glad I had that to look back at, but there was just too much I don't want to be read. I'm going to try and hit the sack earlier tonight. I've been getting sucked in to this damn computer too much and staying up much later than I intend to. ;)

I was planning on being off already myself and then decided to check a few more blogs. Great job on the leg workout today!! I will be thinking of you when i do mine tomorrow!!!!

Man girl you are rockin this and I am sooooo jealous! I am very proud of you though, you really are kickin some arse!

I think about you all the time while I am running and dying...Melissa can do this come on! I say to myself. I whine about 2 miles then get on your blog and your like, "I totally hit 100 miles today!" And I'm all, well crap me and my stupid whining. You are my idol girl...

LOL about the mommy face, I totally have to do that still with my 7 yr old...it is not an easy thing to do either.

Keep up the great work! I did well again yesterday too. I feel like I'm getting it back again, ha ha, yeah, it's been 2 days.

I sometimes have to leave the room because I can't keep that "mommy face" on, especially with my younger one.

i hear you on the legs thing. i tend to neglect my legs b/c i do a lot of cardio and feel like that's workout enough. but, i dont' think that's the right attitude b/c i still don't have the definition i want. i just like doing the cardio b/c i feel so empowered by it. anyway, i need to work on doing more legs too!

Ditto on the legs! I've been neglecting it too and when I did leg workout last Thursday, the soreness lasted for days! A sure indication that I need to work on it more! I thought running would take care of the legs, but apparently it's not enough!

Great job on the workouts!
