Thanks for checking in and for the good luck wishes on my interview!! It went very well and I was offered the job, but unfortunately I had to turn it down. My jaw about hit the floor when I heard the pay. I can't believe people actually teach there for that! I mean, I know it's a preschool rather than a public school teaching older kids, but come on. The amount they start out at is flippin insane. No thanks. Soooooo, I checked out an employment agency yesterday, not to be confused with a temp agency. They give me info on jobs and how to contact the employer and I do all the work...and if hired, I'm permanent, not connected to them in any way. I've sent my resume to a few prospects and made a few calls. I'm hoping to hear back about one of them soon. Oh- I got a call today from another preschool wanting me for an interview tomorrow. Right away I wanted to ask "How much do you pay so I'm not wasting my time?". But I didn't think that was a great idea b/c of the small chance that it could be better. Damn I hope so. And- I don't know anyone here so I have to pay out the ass to leave Aiden with our gym daycare so I can leave the property for an interview. I guess I shouldn't complain, at least they offer that service! Whew! Jon starts his new job tomorrow, so anytime I need to interview, I have to shell out $$ for childcare. Damnit. Do whatcha gotta do I guess. Just hope I find a job soon.
Enough about that....day 3 and going strong! Just finished a LBWO and I'm wiped. I've lost so much strength the past couple months. I've been doing my workouts BFL style and they're kicking my butt. Yesterday was HIIT on the treadmill and let me tell you, if you haven't been doing that for several months and you get back to your unhealthy, out of shape ways....then try to do HIIT again.....you're gonna be huffin and puffin before you finish the first interval!! But I felt GREAT when it was over with. =) Doing this with Jon is a HUGE help. I don't have to cook separate meals and I don't have to watch anyone else eating bad foods when I'm having cravings. I guess it's only day 3 so I shouldn't speak too soon, but so far so good.

Way to go on your back to fitness plan! Have you checked out the local schools to see about substitute teaching? I know that here you can make around $60 a day and you can pick and chose what jobs you want to accept. Just a thought cause I know that you were interested in maybe becoming a teacher. This would give you an idea of what it would be like. Gook luck on your job hunt.
Continued good luck with the job search. Great job on the awesome start to your challenge!!!!!!!
Hope the job hunt proves successful! I had my fingers crossed for the last one. Too bad the pay sucked. But at least you know you're hireable!
Great job on Day 3!!! I'm hoping to engage my hubby in at least the healthy eating part so it will make it easier on me too. He SAYS he wants to help me in any way. Well, that would be the BEST way. Food is my downfall.
My goodness, your blog has not wanted to let me leave a comment. This is like my 3rd try. But finally here I am. Hey, 3 days is 3 days. You're on a roll girl! Great job on getting back on it. It's nice that you have Jon on board with you. So much easier. Keep up the great work!
I have a friend who used to own a daycare and she said it was sooooo hard to find good people willing to work for such small wages. I think it has to be people who don't need the money...who did it because they want to be around little kids all day...
You'll find something great real soon.
Way to go on 3 successful fitness days! Don't sweat too much about the job hunt. Something will come up that will be perfect for you!
